Unlock Your Trading Potential: The Power of Subconscious Reprogramming Techniques

Updated: Jul 29, 2023

When you engage in thinking, your conscious mind is at work, influenced by wishes and desires such as "I want this" or "I wish I had this".

However, when you become fully absorbed in an activity, your conscious mind becomes less aware of your surroundings, and your subconscious mind takes over.

An example of this is when you find yourself driving on the freeway without paying attention while engrossed in conversation.

''It is believed by scientists that the subconscious mind drives 95% of your life.''

Meaning that the wiring of your subconscious mind is responsible for most of your actions and thoughts, not your conscious mind.

In other words, the subconscious mind operates in the background, often without you even realizing it.

During the last trimester of pregnancy and up until the age of around 7, our subconscious mind undergoes intense programming, which is why children are highly receptive and able to absorb everything around them like sponges.

However, as we grow into adulthood, our brain becomes less malleable and our programming becomes more fixed, making it more difficult for us to absorb and be impacted by new information on a subconscious level.

Our adult lives are essentially a manifestation of our subconscious programming, which can be limiting if negative beliefs were wired into us during our early years.

Our subconscious mind becomes the driving force behind our actions and behavior, often without us even realizing it, holding us back from reaching our full potential.

Therefore, it can be said that one's subconscious programming may hinder their progress.

Subconscious Reprogramming

Subconscious reprogramming involves identifying and changing limiting beliefs, patterns, and habits that may be holding us back from achieving our goals and living the life we desire.

By changing these underlying subconscious beliefs and patterns, we can create a more positive and empowering mindset that supports our goals and aspirations.

This can involve techniques such as affirmations, visualization, meditation, hypnotherapy, and other methods to help rewire the subconscious mind.

Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs in our subconscious often have roots in our childhood.

During those formative years, we are highly impressionable and can easily absorb the beliefs and values of our environment.

For example, if we were repeatedly told that we are not good enough or cannot achieve success, we may still hold onto those beliefs unconsciously.

Reprogramming our subconscious mind involves identifying and replacing these limiting beliefs with positive and empowering ones, ultimately helping us to live more fulfilling lives.

How Long Does It Take?

In today's fast-paced world, many people wonder how long it takes to reprogram their subconscious mind.

While we all desire a definitive answer, the truth is that there are several factors involved, some of which are unknown.

Some of the factors that affect how long it takes to reprogram your subconscious include your current beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors, the amount of effort you put into reprogramming, and the extent of the subconscious mind you want to reprogram.

For instance, if you want to reprogram your subconscious mind to attract more money, the speed at which you can achieve this depends on various factors, such as your existing beliefs about money, your spending habits, your feelings about money, and what money means to you.

While some people may see results in as little as 7 days, others may need to wait for up to a year, depending on their limiting beliefs.

Nonetheless, this article provides tools that, when used consistently and with commitment, can help achieve the fastest success in subconscious reprogramming.

How To do It Fast?

To achieve quick and effective results in reprogramming your subconscious mind, try combining the following techniques and exercises.

However, don't make it a tedious or unpleasant task.

Remember that reprogramming your subconscious is a powerful way to transform your life for the better. So approach it with enthusiasm and positivity.

Observe Your Thoughts, Language, and Emotions

Your mindset, thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and visualizations have the power to shape your reality. It's crucial to cultivate a mindset that aligns with your desired self.

To begin, become an attentive observer of your thoughts, language, and emotions as they can reveal your underlying subconscious beliefs.

Ask yourself:

How do I talk to myself?

What kind of language do I use?

Which emotions surface in different situations?

Write down your observations. For instance, you may frequently uttered the phrase "Better safe than sorry," revealing a limiting belief that it's better to play it safe than to take risks.

However, taking risks is an essential part of a fulfilling life, and most worthwhile endeavors require some degree of risk-taking.

By becoming aware of this belief, you can create a new empowering one:

"Taking risks is part of life, and every risk presents an opportunity."

Make a commitment to observe yourself for at least a week, and you'll be amazed at how much you can uncover.

Write New Beliefs

Whenever you find any limiting belief write it down and write a new empowering one instead.

Observing your thoughts and emotions, and the way you speak is a good way to uncover limiting beliefs.

For instance, you might find the belief that “having too much money is bad.”

Now what you do is question this belief.

Is having too much money really bad?

Think about all the good things money has accomplished and imagine what awesome things you could do with “having too much money”.

Here is a list of some of the 'good' things you can do:

• Take your parents on that trip to Africa they always wanted to do.

• Treat your friends to a nice dinner.

• Build your dream house.

• Donate more money to your favorite charity.

• Move to Thailand like you always wanted to do.

• Invest in sustainable businesses.

• Give you more freedom over your time.

Stop thinking that money will somehow make you a “bad person”.

Money is not bad. It’s a tool, an energy you can use for good, or bad.

Now that you have found out that having too much money is good write down a new belief:

“Having a lot of money is good because it enables me to live the life I want and do a lot of good in the world.”

Whenever you uncover a new limiting belief go through that same process.

Use Positive Affirmations

Incorporate your new empowering beliefs into positive affirmations and repeat them to yourself, preferably before bed and upon waking up in the morning.

Using positive affirmations during these times can be particularly effective because your rational mind is still in a more relaxed state.

This allows for easier access to your subconscious mind.

Positive affirmations have been proven to be a powerful tool for reprogramming the subconscious mind, with many successful people, including Oprah, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jim Carrey, attributing part of their success to them.

Neuroscience research has shown that using positive affirmations can strengthen specific neural pathways (1), while psychological research suggests that affirmations can enhance one's self-perception (2).

Make your affirmations a daily habit, incorporating them into your thoughts, speech, writing, and emotions.

Use Visualizations

Using visualizations is a powerful way to reprogram your subconscious mind. However, to get the best results, it's essential to do more than just imagine.

You need to involve all your senses, including what you hear, smell, and most importantly, how you feel.

There are a few ways to use visualizations:

1. Visualize a short scene repeatedly:

Create a brief scene in your mind where your desires are fulfilled. For example, you can imagine yourself on the porch of your dream beach house.

Repeat this scene in your visualization multiple times, preferably in the morning and evening for about five minutes each.

2. Visualize your dream life:

You can also visualize an elaborate scene with everything your dream life includes.

However, you must stay focused to avoid drifting off into daydreaming. With time, you'll get better at shifting into the feeling of your dream already being fulfilled.

3. Visualize your perfect day:

Imagine what your ideal day would look like from start to finish. Ask yourself questions like where you are, what you're doing, what you're eating, and how you feel at every moment.

Remember that you can always change some parts of your visualization if they don't feel right anymore. Keep in mind that involving all your senses and emotions is key to effective visualization.

Feel As IF Its Already Done

In reprogramming your subconscious mind, incorporating your feelings is essential. By feeling the emotions that arise when your desires are already fulfilled, you can make your positive affirmations and visualizations more effective.

To start, identify what you want and then imagine how you would feel if your want was already fulfilled. After that, try to evoke that emotion within yourself.

Initially, it may be challenging to do so, but the more you practice, the easier it becomes. However, maintaining the emotion requires focus.

If you notice that the positive emotion in your visualizations fades, it may be because you are losing your concentration.

This means that in addition to subconscious reprogramming, you are also practicing focus, which can come in handy in many areas of your life.

Moreover, you can also use the affirmation “it is done” to enhance your faith.

Everything already exists in the present moment, and as your faith grows, you will feel that “it is done.”

Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind While Sleeping

Reprogramming your subconscious mind during sleep is not only effortless but also highly effective. All you need to do is play affirmations while you sleep.

This method works because the subconscious mind never sleeps. Even while you're fast asleep, your subconscious still registers what's happening in the waking world.

Moreover, since your conscious mind is asleep, you can bypass its critical nature that can interfere with affirmations you use during your waking hours.

When you use positive affirmations while awake, your conscious mind can act as a gatekeeper, criticizing and questioning your affirmations.

For instance, if you repeat

"I am abundant, wealthy, and happy,"

your conscious mind might intervene and say,

"Have you checked your bank account lately? You're not wealthy."

There are several videos available on YouTube that you can use, some of which utilize binaural beats to maintain your brainwaves in the desired range.

Alternatively, you can record your own affirmations and play them repeatedly.

Using your own voice might be more effective since your subconscious mind is more receptive to the sound of your voice than to someone else's.

I also have a powerful affirmation audio specifically for trading I developed which you can get here: 'Trading Affirmations For Peak Performance.''

Act As If

The phrase "Fake it till you make it" may be familiar to you.

This approach is similar to what we are discussing here - acting as if all your desires have already been fulfilled.

Aside from using the previous methods we've mentioned, begin to act as if you have already achieved everything you desire.

Consider what your best self would be like and what they would do.

Start being and doing that. For instance, if your ideal self is a business owner, take the first step towards launching that business.

Think about how grateful, generous, happy, and loving your best self would be.

If you're using the above techniques to reprogram your subconscious for wealth but act as if you're poor, you're sending mixed signals.

I'm not suggesting that you spend your money mindlessly on unnecessary items. However, your wealthy self is probably not stingy and doesn't fret about spending a few dollars on a cappuccino.

Being generous and giving is a reflection of abundance.

And when you act generously, more abundance is likely to come to you.

''By being generous and giving, you're communicating to the universe that you already have enough. This is because you can only give what you have. ''

And in turn, you'll experience the feeling of having more.

Stay Present

Don't forget to stay present in the moment before getting lost in your thoughts and techniques.

It's important not to use these methods to avoid your current reality. To reprogram your subconscious mind effectively, being present is key.

If you spend most of your life dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, take a moment to reflect on where it has gotten you.

Ultimately, happiness is what we all strive for. But in order to be happy, we must first learn to be present in the now.

When you are truly present, you will feel better and be happier. By embodying the person you want to become (for example, a happy person), the rest will fall into place.

Reprogramming your subconscious mind requires faith and trust.

As you practice the techniques mentioned here, your faith and trust will grow stronger.

It's normal to feel anxious or uncomfortable when you begin taking steps towards your dreams.

Leaving your comfort zone can be unsettling, but this discomfort is a sign that you're on the right path. Your ability to tolerate discomfort is a good indicator of your potential for success.

Alan, ever heard of the book Psycho-Cybernetics by Maltz (1960)? I am reading it now. Your article has a lot in common with it, from what I have learned so far.
